I recently had the pleasure of dining at DE FISH, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! If you're a fan of fresh seafood, this place is an absolute must-visit. From the moment we arrived, the ambiance was warm and inviting, with a cozy yet elegant feel. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we felt comfortable throughout the meal. Now, let's talk about the food – it was outstanding. The fish was incredibly fresh, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. I particularly recommend the *grilled Pomfret* – it had a beautiful smoky flavor and was served with a delicious mix of herbs and spices. The *seafood platter* was also a standout, offering a variety of beautifully prepared shellfish, prawns, and fish, all bursting with flavor.

We highly recommend this place for a yummy meal. The food was absolutely delicious — the fish was fresh and flavorful, which really made our lunch enjoyable. While the service was a little slower than expected, it was still worth the wait, and the staff were polite. The welcome drinks were very refreshing n moreish. We tried a variety of fish dishes, as you can see from our table, and truly enjoyed each one. One tip for first-time visitors: when ordering fish, it’s best to choose your selection directly from the display at the entrance. They will weigh it for you, and you can order accordingly. We weren’t aware of this process at first, so we ended up with larger portions than anticipated, which also made the bill a bit higher than we expected. We had to pack up some leftovers — but no complaints, as the food was excellent! Next time, we’ll definitely weigh before we order. Overall, it was a great experience, and we’ll certainly be returning for another delicious fish lunch.

Place was amazing, food was great. The fish tikka was soft and melted in you mouth, and the pomphret fish tasted amazing it was again really soft and the skin had so much flavor. Their prawn fry was also amazing but I forgot to take a picture. Their white rice was freshly made and was very soft. Their atmosphere was amazing really going for that “on the ocean” feel with blue lighting and ropes across the ceiling it was such a great experience and there was also some music in the background, there was also some nice outdoor seating as well. I will say that the service is very slow as it’s a busy place but it’s worth the wait, the staff were really nice and helpful, and takeaway was seamless. 10/10 would recommend.

Based on the recommendations from friends and colleagues, I decided to try their highly-praised seafood bucket—and I must say, it definitely lived up to the hype! The seafood was incredibly fresh, the flavors were rich and well-balanced, and the portion sizes were generous, especially with the rice served alongside. Every bite felt worth it, and both I and my family—who came along—thoroughly enjoyed the experience. But the absolute standout for me was their Prawns Tawa Fry. It featured small prawns coated in a perfectly spiced masala, bursting with flavor. This was hands down my favorite dish of the evening! The Fish Mango Curry was decent, though not as memorable as the others. However, the Kappa with Fish Curry was quite enjoyable—I especially liked the fish curry when paired with their soft porotta. Overall, a great experience with some must-try dishes, especially if you’re a seafood lover. Will definitely be going back for that prawns tawa fry!
