I had an amazing experience at Malabar Plate in Karama. Tried the mushroom varattiyath, beef dry fry, and Alappuzha chicken curry — all three dishes were bursting with authentic Kerala flavors. The mushroom varattiyath had the perfect spice blend and texture, while the beef dry fry was crispy, tender, and packed with flavor. The Alappuzha chicken curry brought a delicious hit of tanginess and coconut just like a home cooked meal from Kerala. Cozy ambiance, friendly staff, and great value for money. Highly recommended for anyone craving real Malabar food.

Located in the heart of Karama, this Teeffee Malabar Plate is a small restaurant where there is Kerala cuisine for the visitors.
In the holy month of the Ramadan, most of the visitors are served in Buffet at the midnight.
Most of the visitors are there to enjoy the vibe nearby.
That street is transformed into the Ramadan street food festival where most of the people from around the UAE come to experience the food festival in the night.
This is a cozy, well-lit interior of the Teeffee Malabar plate restaurant or café.
The design features modern, sleek elements like clean white walls, elegant wooden ceiling panels, and well-arranged tables.
Some people are seated at tables, enjoying their meal or having a conversation, while others are walking through the space, possibly heading to their seats after they take self serve their food from the buffet arrangement.
The counter area has some containers with candy and other items on display, adding a welcoming touch.
There’s also a noticeable focus on the bright lighting, which creates a warm and inviting atmosphere.
It looks like a nice, bustling place for people to gather and enjoy their time with wide range of Iftar combo or the Ramadan offers.
They need to improve a little bit of service to the guests in serving like hot water when required specially at the night time.

Food was served quick and food was tasty.
Premium service
Cashier was too good when we had a confusion with total he accepted and helped with actual bill, so professionally treated.
Only problem facing with hand was. It's at end of the room and it's maintained well but no tissue. May be because of weekend.
Must try food here if you are a food lover

I order Egg Curry and string hoppers. The food taste good but sadly to say they use lot of food color. I notice the same in near by tables with beef Curry and other breakfast Currys. Red food color is baned in USA that can cause cancer. Hope management will find to make there mark with taste than color. Even after hand wash hand is RED

Malabar Plate is a gem for lovers of authentic Kerala cuisine, offering a culinary journey that’s both nostalgic and flavorful. From the moment you step in, the warm ambiance and the aroma of spices set the tone for a delightful dining experience.
Their Uruli Chor is a feast in itself, served in a traditional brass uruli, with layers of fragrant rice, tender meat, and caramelized onions. The Chatty Chor is equally impressive, with its earthy flavors and perfect blend of spices, while the Biriyani Meals showcase the classic Malabar flair with their aromatic rice and sumptuous sides.
However, the true star of the menu is the Beef Pally Curry, a robust and flavorful dish that pairs wonderfully with anything, especially their soft, flaky porottas. Another standout is the Chicken Malabar Curry, a rich and creamy delight that combines perfectly with the porotta, creating a match made in heaven.
Seafood lovers will enjoy the Chapatti Fish Curry, which boasts a tangy, spicy gravy that is both comforting and delicious. The freshness of the ingredients and the authenticity of the preparation make every bite memorable.
Overall, Malabar Plate strikes the perfect balance between tradition and taste, making it a must-visit for anyone craving the bold and vibrant flavors of Kerala cuisine. Highly recommended!
